Museum of Cosmonautics – 60 Years of Human Spaceflight

_we were commissioned by the Museum of Cosmonautics to develop a project marking the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first spaceflight. The goal was to create a range that would resonate with younger audiences while honoring the significance of this milestone in human history. We developed tangible expressions of the ‘first-time’ experience — imagining the awe of seeing Earth from space for the very first time. This narrative was reinterpreted through a contemporary youth lens, evoking the thrill and wonder of encountering something extraordinary for the first time.

_developed in collaboration with graphic design studio Vyuga, the range features the custom font Peshka, which anchors the visual identity in both personal and historical narratives. Drawing on aviation heritage through typographic design, it connects past and present in a meaningful way.

_the collection was exhibited at the museum 
and made available in select retail stores.

_founded by David Poole and Dasha Selyanova, the practice connects research, strategy, and application. We work with semiotic and anthropological approaches to understand context, behaviour, and direction

_David’s 30-year career working across education, design, and art industry provides dp3.0 with a strong foundation in cultural and creative practice.

_his work focuses on developing frameworks, ideas, and long-term approaches to creative and strategic projects.

_his work includes collaborations with institutions such as the V&A and the Barbican, and the development of curricula for fashion and communication programmes in the UK and Ireland

_Dasha Selyan0va

_Dasha’s background in design and MSc in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour (Goldsmiths) informs dp3.0’s approach to understanding audiences, behaviour, and communication

_she lectures in Marketing Strategy and Branding Theory at LCF (UAL).
