‘BASQUIAT -

BOOM FOR REAL

CLIENT:  The Barbican London
DATE:  October 2018
LOCATION: London, UK
BRIEF: A public workshop exploring the ideas presented in the Barbican ‘Basquiat - Boom for real’ show.

PROCESS: For this workshop we produced an immersive set design and props that allowed participants todirect, photograph and model for each other creating their own interpretations of abstract portraiture using 3D elements of Basquiat’s paintings. The images generated by the public during the workshop were printed immediately and they had the option to further abstract it through collage or just take it home as a souvenir.
