DATE: July 2023

LOCATION: Dublin, Ireland.

We worked with designer and artist Joanne Hynes to define and navigate an overview of her creative archive and showcase new directions in her work.Together we defined a pathway of reconciliation between past creative motifs and new ways of working.

dp3.0 curated and co-produced the exhibition of framed archive work, new digital image making and sculptural vignettes which all formed around extracts from Joanne Hynes new writing.

We worked closely with the artist to support emerging ideas and build in contexts and structure that enable rich creative growth and expression.

PROJECT: 2020 VISION

CLIENT: Middlesex University

DATE: June 2020

LOCATION: London, UK.

BRIEF:Design and produce a digital graduate showcase as an alternative to the traditional public exhibition for the Fashion Communication Department.

Working with Art Director William Richardson and programmer Rafa Cobiella to design a new multi experience site. Mixed frame scrolling extends user experience by allowing them to create their own visual combinations, utilise built in text and drawing tools while emphasising the dynamic mix of content and ideas produced by students.

Alongside the launch of the site we organised three days of events with industry guest speakers, Q&A’s, and workshops. The events allowed direct access and interaction between industry, students, and the general public.

PROJECT: VOYEUR

CLIENT: Middlesex University

DATE: June 2017-2019

LOCATION: London, UK.

A dual poster/magazine that could showcase the students work and extracts from their dissertations. The result was a stand alone publication that works beyond generic  “Fashion Department” catalogues. The publication demonstrated the breadth of the students work, as well as serving as an introduction to the spectrum of ideas explored on the Fashion Communication degree programme.Design promotional material for the end of year graduate showcase for the Fashion Communication Programme at Middlesex University.

Alongside the magazine we worked with Acierta Studio on a static exhibition at the Truman Brewery London. The concept was based around billboards, fly posters and guerilla marketing. The stand stood out against the typical degree showcase structures and reflected the dynamic inherent in Fashion Communication: impact, instinct, insight and message.
